The vision for Daniel Academy is creating a residential program for boys who have experienced sex trafficking. We will provide a safe, structured environment for healing that also focuses on building life skills, creating opportunities for healing, and creating stability for the future.

Why Daniel Academy Exists

At least 35% of children of children coming out of sex trafficking are boys yet their needs are often over looked

Boys who experience exploitation are often less visible and less likely to be identified or supported. Without safe environments designed for their needs, many are left without the care, resources, and relationships necessary for healing. Through Daniel Academy we want to address this gap, providing support where trust can be rebuilt and stability can take hold over time.

Lasting change grows from a foundation of safety and trust. Daniel Academy will provide a consistent, supportive environment where boys can experience stability, build healthy relationships, and develop confidence over time.

Growth happens through both support and opportunity. Through education, life skills, and daily guidance, boys will be encouraged to discover their strengths, develop practical skills, and move toward a future marked by greater independence, purpose, and stability.

Interrupting the Cycle

80% of Survivors Are Re-Victimized Without a Safe Place To Go

Trafficking is often cyclical. Without stable relationships, safe housing, and ongoing support, survivors often face the same vulnerabilities that led to their exploitation in the first place, creating a path back into harm. We exist to interrupt that cycle.

Return to Vulnerability

Exiting exploitation doesn't erase the vulnerabilities that made someone a target in the first place. Without intervention, those same conditions remain and so does the risk of being revictimized.

Boys Are Also Victims of Sex Trafficking

Boys experience trafficking too, yet their stories often go unseen. Stigma, underreporting, and limited awareness can make it difficult for male survivors to be recognized and connected to appropriate support, leaving many to navigate the effects of exploitation without the care they need.

Daniel Academy was created to respond to this need. By providing a safe environment, trusted relationships, education, and practical life skills, we create opportunities for survivors to experience stability, build confidence, and move toward a stronger future.

Daniel Academy is in active development. We have not set an opening date at this point as we are committed to building it with the same care, safety, and depth that shaped Sarah’s Home. This work is underway.

Daniel Academy will be a residential home for boys ages 14–17 who have survived sex trafficking.

Survivors of sex trafficking need programs specifically designed to address the unique trauma and risks associated with trafficking. A general shelter is rarely equipped for that, and without the right care, a survivor can be exposed to further harm. Daniel Academy will be built for boys who have survived trafficking. It will offer the kind of specialized, lasting care that makes real restoration possible.

Daniel Academy is currently in development, and like Sarah's Home, its location will remain confidential once in order to protect the safety and privacy of the boys in our care. We're not able to accommodate visits to the site.
