Mission Statement: Rooted in our faith in Christ, we work to prevent trafficking, provide places of holistic care for teenage survivors, and prepare them for life beyond our doors through accredited education, supportive relationships, and life skills. We walk with survivors and their families through the ongoing work of healing—celebrating progress, learning from setbacks, and building hope for the future.

The Issue

We Exist to Interrupt the Cycle

While trafficking and exploitation are widely acknowledged, residential services designed to support long-term healing for teen survivors remain limited. Without stable relationships, safe housing, and ongoing support, survivors often face the same vulnerabilities that led to their exploitation in the first place, creating a path back into harm. We exist to interrupt that cycle through residential services and working to prevent trafficking before it begins.

Adagio’s program Sarah’s Home serves teenagers who have experienced sex trafficking. Through residential care, education, and prevention, we walk with young people and their families toward healing.

Yes. Adagio is a Christ-centered organization, and our faith is the reason we do this work. It shapes how we care, with dignity, patience, and hope. This same faith does not need to be shared by the youth that we serve. Young people of every background and belief are welcomed, respected, and loved here.

Adagio is funded through the generosity of donors, churches, and grant partners who believe no child should be trafficked or walk through the impacts of their trafficking experience alone. Every gift goes toward the direct care, education, prevention and supporting the healing of survivors.
