Adagio Transition

As our organization has grown, we've expanded beyond a single program (Sarah’s Home) and now have several — Sarah's Home, Aspire Academy, and our program under development, Daniel Academy. Adagio gives all of this work one clear, unified identity, while still clearly identifying the programs that you know and trust.

Adagio is a musical tempo meaning "at ease", progressing forward a notch below a walking pace. It brings to mind the way Jesus moved through His earthly ministry: unhurried, present, meeting people with compassion and patience. We're committed to the same, walking humbly alongside those we serve, trusting that true restoration unfolds in faithful, steady steps. It reflects our belief that people cannot be rushed through healing, growth, or change. We choose to move at the pace of trust, creating space for relationships to develop through consistent presence and deep relational care. Because when trust is given time to grow, lasting change becomes possible.

No. Sarah's Home is not closing. It continues to operate under its trusted name, providing the same service of housing and a specialized program for teenage girls who are survivors of sex trafficking.

The work to open Daniel Academy also continues to be developed under its current name. Both Daniel Academy and Sarah’s Home program now operate under Adagio, our new unified corporate name.

No. Your support continues to make the same impact it always has. Only our corporate name is changing — our mission, our programs, and our commitment to the people we serve remain the same.

Our previous name, Sarah's Home Corp, made it easy to confuse our overall organization with our Sarah's Home program, especially as we've grown to develop Daniel Academy. Our new corporate name gives our organization a stronger, unified identity, reduces that confusion, and preserves the program names that our donors, participants, and community already know and trust.

Yes. Adagio is a DBA ("doing business as"), not a change to our legal entity — our EIN stays the same, so your giving remains tax-deductible exactly as before.

Yes. Alongside the new name, you'll see a refreshed visual identity, including a new website. The programs and the mission behind them are exactly the same.
